Syllabus & lesson planning FAQs

Ask us anything

Syllabus & lesson planning is one of the 23+ connected modules of EDTECHRUN, the complete school management software and ERP for schools, colleges and coaching institutes.

Can we import our existing syllabus?
Yes. Upload a CSV or Excel file with units, chapters and topics, review the preview, then save it.
How is syllabus completion calculated?
From the lessons teachers record as delivered: completed topics divided by all topics, or weighted by teaching time or topic weight if the school prefers. Draft plans never count.
Do lesson plans need approval?
Only if your school turns approvals on. Otherwise teachers plan and record lessons on their own.
Can students and parents see the syllabus?
If the school allows it, students and parents see the published syllabus, and optionally which topics have been covered.
